Sarah Elizabeth Bedard
Theatre Artist and Co-Artistic Director of The Actor's Revolution
In addition to performing, I give private lessons for College auditions, general audition prep and actor growth. When giving a lesson, I work specifically on what the student is looking to improve, as well is challenging and encouraging the student to dive deep and try new, outside of the box approaches to acting.
I offer the following workshops for groups or individuals of all ages. I also create custom workshops upon request, just ask!
Students learn the fundamentals of stage combat through step by step drills and exciting fight choreography and scene work.
Students collaborate to create innovative new pieces of theatre using literature, music, historical or current events.
Storytelling Through Movement
Students learn to create a theatrical story through movement alone.
Students dive into scene work and monologues while working on the technicalities of performing Shakespeare in order to gain understanding, freedom, ease, and openness with the Bard’s text.
Students work and play with improvization exercises and games to create compelling characters and stories in collaboration with each other.
Theatre for Social Change
Students take on the big issues and work to create original pieces of theatre with the goal of creating social change in the world.
